Hoehn Cares donates Sprinter Vans to support the Boys & Girls Club’s transportation needs.

The Boys & Girls Club of Northwest San Diego is committed to providing safe, inclusive, high-quality, and affordable (and fun!) programming for families. Last year, two legacy organizations, the Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito and the Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside, merged to better serve their 6,500 members. Both organizations were founded over half a century ago as a safe space for growth and mentorship, and have since expanded their services to include a wider range of programs such as after-school tutoring, music lessons, workforce preparation, social clubs, summer camps, sports, and more! Additional notable programs include:

  • The ROADs program serves adults with disabilities, providing them with meaningful enrichment and skill-building opportunities.
  • The Lunch Box: This initiative provides teens the opportunity to learn career-focused culinary skills through hands-on training. Meals prepared through the program are provided free of charge to local youth in need.

As part of our ongoing partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, the Hoehn Cares Initiative has provided lasting support, including the donation of three Sprinter Vans and two Honda Odysseys. These vehicles continue to offer reliable, safe transportation for club members to reach after-school programs, field trips, enrichment activities, mentorship programs, and more.

Whether you’re looking for an activity for the kids or a great cause to support, we encourage you to explore all the exciting opportunities the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest San Diego offers across its eight clubhouse locations: Allred and Polster Clubhouses in Carmel Valley; Del Mar Clubhouse; Griset and Ocean Knoll Clubhouses in Encinitas; Harper Teen Center and La Colonia Clubhouses in Solana Beach; and the Oceanside Clubhouse.
