Hoehn Honda Donates Two Honda HRVs to YMCA San Diego

At the Hoehn Family of Dealerships, we value bettering our community by partnering with and giving back to local organizations and charities. One of our longtime charity partners is the YMCA of San Diego County, which supports youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for almost 400,000 program participants, regardless of background or socioeconomic status.

We are thrilled to support this cause and further this partnership even more. Recently, Hoehn Honda donated two Honda HRVs to the YMCA of San Diego County. These vehicles have become essential for maintaining the community’s aquatic programs, ensuring that 42 pools across 14 sites remain in excellent condition.

Aquatic Maintenance

The two Honda HRVs donated by Hoehn Honda play a key role in the YMCA’s operations, particularly for their aquatic maintenance teams. Here’s how these cars are being utilized:

• Emergency Repairs: With 42 bodies of water to oversee, timely maintenance is critical. The Honda HRVs enable the aquatic maintenance teams to respond quickly to any issues, ensuring the pools stay safe and operational.
  
• Overall Aquatic Support: These pools are vital community assets, offering life-saving swim lessons, promoting exercise to combat obesity, and providing a space for families to connect.

The aquatic maintenance teams are the silent warriors of the YMCA team. If they are performing their work efficiently, the community will never know they are there. The HRVs are the unsung heroes, allowing the maintenance teams to perform their duties smoothly and effectively, often without the community noticing any disruption.
