Team Hoehn’s Day of Service
On December 9, 2024, we gave back to two crucial organizations in our community:
- The Boys and Girls Clubs of Oceanside and Carlsbad The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego are committed to providing safe, inclusive, high-quality, and affordable programming for families through a variety of educational and fun-filled enrichment programs.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provides a “home-away-from-home” for families with children receiving treatment for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.
The Hoehn Family of Dealerships is proud to continue our long-standing partnerships with both organizations. Our Day of Service brought employees together to serve our community.
Delivering Joy to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside and Carlsbad
This year, each Hoehn dealership hosted a Toy Drive benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside and Carlsbad. To encourage toy donations, we organized a large Cars & Coffee Toy Drive event at our Porsche store, which welcomed over 350 attendees and packed a Taycan full of customer-donated toys! Thanks to the generosity of our employees and customers, we filled three trucks with toys.
On Monday, we transported and delivered the gifts to the grateful staff at the Boys & Girls Club. They will match the gifts to children and teens in need. Their organization sends a powerful message to those facing challenges in life: they are not alone, and they matter to the community.
Serving Smiles at the Ronald McDonald House
In the evening of the same day, a team of Hoehn employees drove to the Ronald McDonald House to prepare, cook, and serve food to families whose children are receiving extensive medical care at Rady Children’s Hospital. The team toured the facilities, learned about the organization’s mission, and served families facing medical challenges. Being served a warm, hand-cooked meal provides comfort and allows families to focus on caring for their loved ones without losing precious time. It helps them feel supported and seen during difficult circumstances.
